SEO - What is a Link Wheel ?

In order to understand what a Link wheel is, you first need to understand what is SEO and Link Building. SEO stands for search engine optimization and is fundamental for any website that wants to achieve high rankings in search engines (follow the previous link if you need a more accurate explanation).

For optimizing your website for search engines and have better chances of showing in the search engine  there are many approaches you can take and Link Wheel is one of them. A link wheel is a network of websites or web 2.0 pages (your websites) that interlink from one another and each pointing to your main site giving it a big link juice blast. As you can see from the picture and this is just the basic idea of a link wheel and you can make your own variation of it, each of the big sites (those sites are used in the link wheel concept because they have high page rank and pass more link juice around and to your website) links to another big site and also to your website. What you achieve by doing that is make all those websites pass to each other good link juice and therefore getting good link juice from one another strengthening their importance about the subject in matter (the topic of your link wheeled websites).
